    Some posts crash IE6

    Hi

I'm sure you're already aware of this and I think it's a Community Server issue more than anything else, but some posts crash IE6 - can't tell if there's any commonality between the posts although from memory with issues like this cropping up on the Codesmith forums they tended to involve XML config files being pasted into the message, and/or poorly formatted HTML (I think).

One such post (from today) is the one in the Query API forum asking for help on formatting a query (and I was trying to answer as well!)

Oh, and this doesn't appear to be an issue on Netscape (which was my browser of choice at home but just had a new PC with Vista loaded and haven't got around to changing from IE7 yet).

    Cheers

    Martin

I haven't heard that reported, I've switched to using Firefox for everything though. We'll be upgrading to CS 2007 but not sure if that will help, I have IE 6 installed, can you give me a particular post?

    Hi Mike

    http://community.entityspaces.net/forums/thread/1449.aspx

I know this may sound really stupid but if you page through it REALLY quickly then it doesn't (always) crash, however, if you scroll through (using the mouse if that makes any difference) it bombs.  This only started happening with that post after the 3rd or 4th posted reply.

    Cheers

    Martin
