Paging/Sorting with the esDataSource and a GridView with a disabled ViewState

    Paging/Sorting with the esDataSource and a GridView with a disabled ViewState

    I was wondering if anyone had managed to implement the above? Since the ViewState on a GridView is quite expensive in terms of bandwidth, especially if you have multiple GridView's on a page (I use the AJAX tab control)...

    If anyone has any sample code or suggestions, it would be very much appreciated.

    You have a sample that came with the install, look in C:\Program Files\EntitySpaces\esDataSource you could easily take and tweak that to test this out. It runs against SQL's Northwind database. Just do "File" - > "Open" - > "Website" and browse right to that folder.
