EDIT - 2008-3-12: MyGeneration is up to version 1.3.0.3, and has come a long way. Unfortunately, MySQL users still need to stick with 1.2.0.7 (linked below). There are issues with MyMeta foreign keys that affect EntitySpaces hierarchical generation.
The MyGeneration version available from Download.com (and linked to from the MyGeneration home page) is now the new 1.3.0.1 version. Many of you may also notice that MyGeneration prompts you regarding the new release when you run it. While we feel this is an exciting new release, with some great new features, as highlighted in this Blog post, there are some issues still being worked out. MySQL, in particular, is not yet working.
Our recommendation for EntitySpaces production is to stick with MyGeneration 1.2.0.7. We are providing a link to that version here, and on our Home page.
MyGeneration 1.3.0.1 can be installed side-by-side with 1.2.0.7. In order for it to improve, they are going to need users to try it and provide feedback. To that end, in our download forums, you will find two Developer downloads. The recommended one is for use with MyGeneration 1.2.0.7. But, we too, could use some feedback. That is why we are providing the MyGen13 specific installer for EntitySpaces Developer. If any of you are using that with MyGeneration 1.3.0.1, we would appreciate hearing from you in the forums.
Once we feel that a MyGeneration upgrade is in order for use with EntitySpaces, and code generated from it has passed our regression tests, we'll let you know when it is safe to use in a production environment.
