Renewal update appears to have added additional time

It was time for me to renew my developer license, as it was due to expire at the end of March.

We will be adding another developer to the project so I also felt it was necessary to purchase another developer license.

Since you have done such a great job on this product, I also wanted to add by buying the source code so I can put it in the disaster recovery archive.

When it was all said and done, 1 renewal, 1 new developer, 1 source license, I had expected the renewal to go to the end of March 2009, however when I checked it shows: 3/4/2008 and is valid until 4/3/2010. I appreciate the extra time, however I believe it should only say 4/3/2009, please let me know if I am missing something.

    Thanks,

    Mark Warner

First off thank you for your honesty. A lot of people would have just taken the money and ran. I think there is an issue here and we will get it corrected, thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Mark, You are absolutely right. I initially thought that you may have been an early-bird adopter of EntitySpaces Pro, which would account for the two year renewal period. But, that was not the case. We'll have to take a look at the logic on the Purchase Page, for when someone both renews an existing license and purchases a new one.

In appreciation of your honesty, and pointing that out to us, I left the Developer expiration at 4/3/2010. You should also have access to Source, now. It expires 3/4/2009.

I appreciate that, however it wasn't necessary.

What is "EntitySpaces Pro"? I took a quick look and couldn't find anything on it. Is it something new or are you just referencing those lucky folks who started out very early with the product?

    Thanks again.

At one time in the past (early on) we had tiered package prices depending upon which providers you selected. When we changed our offerings we accommodated users that had purchased additional providers with extended subscription durations as David mentioned. Now we only have two packages Developer & Source and they come with all the providers, so thats what the time bonus was for and why. We sincerely hope you enjoy using EntitySpaces, thanks for your business Mark;)
