    Make syntax "< arbitrary sql goes here >" available in Join, Where, and OrderBy methods....

    I know it's all not recommended, but it would make life much easier while waiting for some features to be implemented. For example, I could of use it for table valued functions in joins ( CROSS APPLY/OUTER APPLY )...

    This is a very good idea actually. By the way, it is available on the OrderBy now. This would be a good idea so that you could continue to use the dynamic query for areas which we do not support yet, we'll put it in our Trac system.

    Would something like this be done in a way to enable us to use a HAVING clause on a GROUP BY?  There seems to be some shortcomings with the Dynamic Query API as it relates to HAVING:

    This is listed on the Roadmap, but not as completed for the ES 2008 Release Candidate.  When can we expect this functionality to be included in ES?
