EntitySpaces Templates for ASP.NET - Release 1.5.0

I am attempting to install the web admin templates and am running into the following issues.

During installation, If I select the Detect MyGeneration checkbox, the installer fails to recognize that MyGeneration 1.3 is already installed and tries to do another install.

Second, If I run the installer with Detect MyGeneration unselected, the installer fails with the following messages:

 Error opening file for writing:

\Templates\EntitySpaces\C#\Web\EntitySpaces_C#_ASPX.csgen

If I ignore this message, I get a similar error for the VB template.

Any clues to what the problem is?

 

 

We really recommend that you use MyGeneration 1.2 and I am sure that would fix it. Are you trying to install the final ES2007 release?

Thank you for your reply. It's taken awhile to get around to trying your suggestion due to a two week stint serving on jury duty. Anyway, I reinstalled MyGeneration 1.2 and then Entity Spaces and the install worked fine.

I have the same issue, with the same version. Actually, can't use the product. I have tried two computers, and the same result:

can't write to....\Templates\EntitySpaces\C#\Web\EntitySpaces_C#_ASPX.csgen

I would really apreciate any answer or hint from ES staff. or at least you can put the template in the download page, and I will

put it manually in es folder.

I cannot imagine what is causing this, however, here are the templates:

C#
http://www.entityspaces.net/downloads/EntitySpaces_CS_WebAdmin.zip

VB
http://www.entityspaces.net/downloads/EntitySpaces_VB_WebAdmin.zip

 

During install these would go in your

C:\Program Files\MyGeneration\Templates\EntitySpaces 2008\C#\Web

or

C:\Program Files\MyGeneration\Templates\EntitySpaces 2008\VB\Web

folders
