Hi,

I'm trying to use an esDataSource with a GridView but when I add the esDataSource to the page I get the following error displayed in the control:
- Error Creating Control - esDataSource1Failed to create designer 'EntitySpaces.Web.esDataSource, EntitySpaces.Web, Version=2008.1.623.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=153c437aebb7c620'

1. Project is a Web application in .NET 3.5 
2. I added references to the EntitySpaces assemblies (also .web and .web.design)
3. Added toolbox items from .web.dll assembly
4. Generated Business Class in /Generated and /Custom
5. Added Gridview to page
6. Tried to add esDataSource to page, but then the error above appeared inside the control...

Please assist.

That seems strange, can you compare your aspx pages markup to this one. You could also compare it to our sample esDataSource project that gets installed to C:\Program Files\EntitySpaces 2008\esDataSource by default.

Lol, I just added the esDataSource to the page and the error disappeared.

I suspect it has something to do with the Trial version. I had the trial version installed on my dev machine and was using the developer runtimes. I already uninstalled the trial version to see if this was the problem, but the problem persisted. I coincidentally restarted my machine because I had to change my desk-height so I guess the restart after the fresh install did the trick.
