Good afternoon everyone. I hope someone can help me.

I've just discovered VistaDB and I am impressed with it so far, however ES/MyGeneration is letting it down at the moment. I am trying to connect to the VistaDB database using the MyGeneration Default settings. I get the error:

 "[System.DllNotFoundException] - Unable to load DLL 'VistaDb20.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007077E)"

 Now, I have installed the latest full trial from VistaDB's website (3.3) and I have the latest version of ES 2008 Developer as of todays date.

How can I get the connection string to work to my VistaDB 3.3 database?

Ok, I fixed this issue with this:

But now I have no databases inside MyGeneration (and no tables) when trying to record input.

Do you have a password on the VistaDB database and or are you sure you do not have the VistaDB DataBuilder open at the same time?

Hi, The VistaDB builder is not open and it does have a password, but I put the password into the connection string and it says "connection successful".

Ah... I removed the password and it now all works. Thanks. I take it passwords cause problems then?
