I'm in the process of filing a purchase request order with my company and need to know if EntitySpaces is available as a CD or download only.

 I realize the download is only about 2mb, but I need to ask.

It is only available as a download. Since purchase includes major and minor upgrades for a year, it is really the only sensible delivery mechanism for us. You can always burn your own CD for archiving.

Having a bit of trouble with purchasing EntitySpaces

I'm a civialian contractor working for the US Military.  We are trying to purchase EntitySpaces with the clients money so the end license needs to be owned by the military.   With military re-organization, downsizing, relocations and contract modification, I don' think it's viable to tie this license to a specific body (myself or a government rep).

Can I register/buy EntitySpaces as a generic position?  IE.   {division}WebDevelopers@{militaryBase}.mil  

This would then tie the license to the web developers billet position, so whomever fills the support role for the applications that utilize the EntitySpaces libraries assumes the license.

I realize with multiple developers we will need multiple licenses, could this be done the same way?  IE: {division}WebDeveloper has 5 licenses

They way our license works is that it's tied to your id when you register on our main site (http://www.entityspaces.net). It is through that user id which you create (and make the purchase on) that you can download all releases for 1 year. So really this is more an internal issue than and EntitySpaces issue. The user who registers on our site does not have to the holder of the credit card.

One more question.

Is there a problem with the person registered owning multiple licenses .    {My Military Organization}.LicenseCount = 5;

There will only be one developer per license, but those developers are contracted and may be pulled off the project and replaced with other developers.

 

Since the military accredidation process in a pain, I'm trying to get some of the other developers from other organizations to utilize EntitySpaces as well and they may have the same questions.
