Mike.Griffin: In ES2010 we will make this a checkbox on the Advanced tab that will default to false (keeping things the same) . Any chance this can be put in a service release? I'm afraid I'll forget to "search and replace" after a code gen. If not, what is the timing for ES 2010? Thank you.

I think that should be "==" or .Equals(value) (Ignore: I didn't realize it was VB)

How about a dumber response :) < 301 OR > 399 Isn't that the same thing? I forget the syntax for setting the OR as the default conjunction.

I'm glad to see that you will have a fix for Q3 and a better one for 2010. I would like to suggest for 2010 you do a quick poll to see what people think should be the default behavior / setting. We can test your hypothesis of 99% (I would vote there) and if that's what people are saying then that should be the default setting -- I realize this is a

I'd make sure it's really a bug and not something stupid I'm doing before you thank me. The fact that I can make it happen in one environment and not in another makes me wonder if it's me.

This is nuts but I just downgraded to 2009.1.126.0 and it still doesn't work. I've tried 3.5 and 2.0 version dlls (BTW, what difference does that make?) The main difference is before I was developing on XP and now I'm on VISTA but I don't see how that would make a difference.

I have a site that is using 2009.1.126.0 (don't have access to the code right now) but I do see NULLs in the database -- meaning I think it was working "correctly" in that version. HTH
